As a safety footwear importer, it is mandatory to comply with a series of regulations. Safety and work footwear is classified as follows:
- Safety footwear (label SB). Includes elements that protect against impacts of at least 200 J and compressions of 15 kN.
- Protective footwear (label PB). Includes elements that protect against impacts of at least 100 J and compressions of 10 kN.
- Work footwear (label OB). Does not guarantee protection against impact or compression. There are two types:
- Type I, made with leather and other materials, except those entirely made of rubber or polymers.
- Type II, made entirely of rubber or polymers.
Additionally, the labeling must include, among other data, the size, manufacturer, manufacturing date, and the European standard used for its examination.

- Design and regulations.
